The site has been recognised with a UK Science Park Association (UKSPA) member award for 'setting the pace' for innovation and supporting business growth.
The science park was also shortlisted for the UKSPA Best Project award for its highly successful Open Week last year, in which the STFC Scientific Computing Department played a major part. On the public day alone, more than 7,500 visitors experienced vitrual reality scenarios, tried out simple programming techniques and toured our cutting-edge facilities.
