​The Visual Analytics and Imaging Systems group provides solutions for visualisation and understanding of large data sets. This includes the tomographic data sets generated by DLS and ISIS as well as the results of HPC simulations. A number of software packages​ are used within the group and supported on local systems.

Advanced visualisation techniques are supported on a range of hardware and software within the Atlas Visualisation Facility (AVF) based at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL).
