​​​Jose started working on Grid Computing technologies for the experiments at the Large Hadron Collider during his PhD days, in Madrid.

After graduating, he moved to the US, where he contributed to the Open Science Grid organization and developed several software tools for the ATLAS experiment.

He joined SCD in 2019 and leads the Grid Services Team since then.​
