I am a data scientist in the SciML group, with research focus on data fusion for synchrotron and neutron imaging measurements. My background is in the field of small-angle X-ray scattering, and during recent years I performed research at synchrotron and free-electron laser facilities as an experimental physicist. Prior to joining SciML I did my postdoctoral research in High-Energy Density group in the Institute of Radiation Physics at Helmholtz Centre Dresden-Rossendorf. I obtained my PhD degree (Dr.rer.nat.) at the German Synchrotron (DESY) from the University of Hamburg. Previously I was awarded the equivalent of MSc in condensed matter physics and nanotechnologies at Lomonosov Moscow State University, with further postgraduate research at the Institute of Crystallography at the Russian Academy of Science.

Research interests

Machine learning, radiation imaging, data fusion, SAXS, GISAXS, nanoparticles, synchrotron facilities.
