Dr Jianping Meng is a Computational Scientist in the Scientific Computing Department of STFC Daresbury Laboratory. Jianping received his PhD in Fluid Dynamics from Shanghai University. He has been working in the development and application of mathematical models, numerical schemes, and software for interdisciplinary flow problems, including traffic flows, rarefied/micro gas flows, shallow water flows and multiphase flows.​​
