I am a Computational Scientist at Daresbury Laboratory. My main activities involve the application, programming and development of mesoscale modelling techniques, particularly Dissipative Particle Dynamics (DPD) and the Lattice Boltzmann Equation (LBE) method. I am the lead developer of DL_MESO, a general-purpose mesoscale modelling software package.

I studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), and completed my Engineering Doctorate (EngD) at the University of Manchester under the supervision of Prof. Andrew Masters. My thesis ("A dual modality probe for imaging separation processes") included the development and application of a multiple-fluid LBE algorithm incorporating contrasts in fluids' speeds of sound.
