Computing Insight UK 2023 will take place at Manchester Central Convention Complex on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 December 2023.
The theme for this year's conference is
"Productive Supercomputing (
Accessible and diverse large scale computing)
" with sub-themes including "User Support", "Industry Use of HPC", “Making HPC More Accessible”, “User Portals”, “Convergence of AI and Simulation” and "Co-Design of Supercomputing Services and Systems". There will also be a session on the
UKRI Digital Research Infrastructure including the
ExCALIBUR project.
CIUK 2023 will include an exhibition of the latest hardware and software releases plus a full, two day programme of presentations and a series of parallel breakout sessions. There will be a poster competition plus the fourth instalment of the
CIUK Student Cluster Challenge. We will also present our annual Jacky Pallas Memorial Award.

CIUK 2023 Jacky Pallas Memorial Award
We are currently accepting nominations for the
CIUK 2023 Jacky Pallas Memorial Award.
In 2019 we lost an incredibly important member of the CIUK Scientific Advisory Committee with the sudden and unexpected passing of Jacky Pallas at the age of just 54. In her memory we introduced an annual award that will highlight the work of an early career researcher.

CIUK 2023 Student Poster Competition
We are currently accepting applications for the
CIUK 2023 Student Poster Competition.
Selected posters will be displayed physically at the conference and also online, as well as being included in the official conference proceedings. Selected poster presenters will receive FREE entry to the conference. APPLY NOW!
CIUK 2023 Call for Breakout Sessions
For the first time at Computing Insight UK we are going to make our breakout room available for general use during the conference.
We are now accepting applications to use the breakout room during CIUK 2023. If you have a session that you feel would be suitable and attractive for the attendees at the conference then please
submit an application online. These sessions could be user meetings, project updates, hands-on training courses, product updates or anything similar.

We are currently accepting applications to speak as part of the main programme at Computing Insight UK 2023 at Manchester Central on 7-8 December 2023.

CIUK 2023 Exhibition
Registration for the CIUK 2023 Exhibition is now OPEN. The Computing Insight UK 2023 exhibition will be open on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th December at Manchester Central. There is a set-up day on Wednesday 6th December (between 8am and 8pm).

CIUK 2023 Cluster Challenge
Team registration for the CIUK 2023 Cluster Challenge Competition is now OPEN. Teams of up to six will compete a number of online and in-person challenges with the winning team going on to represent Team CIUK at the ISC'24 Cluster Challenge in Germany.
